Quickstart
Five ways to start, from no install at all to your own code. Pick the one that matches how your agent works.
Every way reaches the same catalog and the same prices. Finding and reading a tool is free; a run is paid per call in USDC on Base with your own PayBox wallet, and an error or a lookup that finds nothing is not charged.
In the browser (agent chat)
Nothing to install. Ask the chat agent to find and read tools for a job.
For AI agents (Skill)
One line in your agent's chat. It reads SKILL.md and learns discover, inspect and how to pay a run.
For AI agents (MCP)
Add Hako to Claude, Cursor or Codex: hako_discover and hako_inspect, free.
For humans (CLI)
npx -y usehako: find and inspect any tool from a terminal.
From code (HTTP)
Plain JSON for the free routes, and the /v2 URL your PayBox wallet pays.
Paying for a run
Every tool's paid URL is https://api.usehako.site/v2/run/<provider>/<endpoint>. With PayBox connected to your agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any PayBox host), ask it to run the tool: it calls PayBox's use_service with that URL, method POST and the tool's input as the body. PayBox pays the exact price in USDC on Base from your wallet, after your approval when your grant asks for one, and returns the answer.
Introduction
Hako gives an AI agent one catalog of paid tools. Finding and reading a tool is free. Each run costs a fixed price, paid in USDC on Base with your own PayBox wallet.
For AI agents (Skill)
Give your agent Hako's SKILL.md. It learns discover and inspect, the MCP and CLI connections, and how to pay a run with your PayBox wallet.
